One was from this album, the two others were remixes of other artists’ songs. For my first DJ Mix, actually, I used three Krewella tracks. Some of it’s more pop, some of it’s more electro-house, but it’s all fantastic. Note: The Krewella Get Wet album has not leaked at this time. This is by far one of the best dubstep albums out there right now. However in this example it’s yet to be seen whether it’s a good thing or not. It’s the opposite of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories where the collaborators overshadowed the group.

For all intents and purposes Get Wet is a complete work of their own with minimal outside influences. The number of collaborations on the album fell short of expectations as Krewella’s work is almost entirely vocal and the group had the chance to bring in almost anyone to contribute to the tracks. As we reported earlier, the most anticipated single may be “Dancing with the Devil” featuring Fall Out Boy’s lead singer / songwriter Patrick Stump and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. There weren’t many new surpises about the album, other than the collaborations with Pegboard Nerds and Gareth Emery.
